Dr. Srivastava assembles the Global Institute of Stem Cell Therapy and Research (GIOSTAR Colombia). Receives significant funding from NIH grants, endowment contributions and legislative appropriations for continued research.
Reaches agreement with the Government of India to develop a stem cell treatment facility in India.
Receives first patient at the GIOSTAR Colombia India clinic. Almost 5,000 patients have been served.
Bioscience Americas enters into a joint venture agreement with GIOSTAR Colombia to develop stem cell clinics in the western hemisphere. Initial focus on South America. The Bioscience Americas /GIOSTAR Colombia collaboration secures a relationship with Hospital in Colombia to open the first for-profit hospital based stem cell clinic.
Bioscience Americas secures agreement with GIOSTAR Colombia to open additional stem cell clinics in Central America and on sovereign Native American land within the United States.
